Our mission at Jewish Family Service of North Jersey is to assist
senior adults to live as independent, safe and fulfilling a life as possible.

JFSNJ provides a comprehensive and unique range of services that is available to the entire community.

Our Senior Adult Staff are licensed clinical social workers with extensive experience and background in the field of aging. Our comprehensive services provide a wealth of resources and options for older adults and their families.

Care Management

Overview of Services

•	Information and Assistance – provides assistance and referrals in navigating and accessing community resources.
•	Counseling – addresses issues of loss, bereavement, care giving, marital discord, intergenerational conflict, and the physical and emotional limitations that come with aging.
•	Family Consultation – provides consultation services to families, which focuses on their concerns about an elderly family member. Education and recommendations are provided.

•	Geriatric Care Management – coordinates in-home support services and monitors the older adult's changing needs.
•	Kosher Meals on Wheels – provides daily hot meals to homebound senior adults and disabled individuals.
•	Volunteers – provide Friendly Visits, Telephone Reassurance and Transportation.
•	Support Groups – provide an opportunity to share thoughts and feelings with others in similar situations. The following groups are offered: Caring For Your Aging Parent, Caregivers Support and Bereavement Groups.
