Growing up in today's world can be overwhelming in part because so much is expected from our children. As parents, we want them to be secure and happy.

Our children are faced with the task of juggling their many feelings about themselves, as well as the constant demands placed upon them by school, friends, and even family.

When certain problems with your child won't go away, a wise parent knows that professional help is needed.

JFSNJ’s licensed professionals provide a wide range of counseling and psychotherapy services for children, teenagers and their families.

•	Children can become freer to express their feelings, reduce their fears and enhance their self-esteem through play therapy.
•	Children with learning disabilities can be helped and their parents can develop coping strategies.
•	Teenagers can talk about personal issues and how to improve family communication.
•	Parents can learn how their relationship can affect their child.

Services are provided on a fee-for-service basis and JFSNJ offers a sliding-fee scale for those requiring financial assistance. JFSNJ participates in several health insurance programs.
