Café Europa
| Café Europa, a social and supportive program for Holocaust survivors, brings together monthly a group of people with similar backgrounds. Participants are provided with opportunities to socialize, reconnect with old friends, develop supportive networks and enjoy the variety of programs presented to them – music, film, lectures. Through Café Europa, Jewish Family Service is able to reach out to the survivor community and identify homebound, at risk survivors, who ordinarily would not have contacted the agency but are eligible for services. Café Europa is partially funded through the Conference on Material Claims Against Germany and community support. |
